R.I.P. MICHAEL JACKSON (1958-2009) Bad World Tour figures total 123 concerts to 4.4 million people. The 16 month tour grossed over $125 million, more than any other entertainer had on a single tour. During the tour Michael invited underprivileged children to watch him perform, and contributed to hospitals, orphanages, and other charities.

Check out the bottom of my Blog to view videos of Michael on this tour.

Michael Jackson. The King of Pop. One of my VERY FAVORITE artists, entertainers, choreographers, musicians, singers, writers, and dancers of ALL time passed away June 25th, 2009.

The next day we went to the park! We drove all around and found deer, elk, bison, eagles in the distance and in their nest, different types of birds, a WOLF, and a BABY BEAR!! We were far from the wolf, but the baby bear was just a few feet from us!!! It was soo awesome!!! But I seriously have never been around so many people who get car sick. Jeanette and her kids get so sick. That night we made smores in the cabin's fireplace and played Catch Phrase. The next day we went to see Old Faithful and saw the HUGE geyser!! It was way cool trip.

Last weekend Kyle, Bridget, Jimmie, Jeanette, Sherylin, and Whitney went to Jeanette's friends cabin near Yellowstone Park. We brought soo many snacks on the road trip I didn't know what to do with myself! The drive wasn't bad at all. It was about 6 hours. When we got there we helped open the cabin for Tricia and then went on a Mule ride down some trails. The mule is their lil Jeep they have. We then canoed down a river that took us about an hour and a half. We raced down and I think it was pretty close! haha

OPERA

I was recently in an opera called the Impressario. It was basically an opera about opera. I was an old Diva who was competing with a young woman to get more money and better parts in the opera company. The Impressario who is over the opera company was tired of the business and wants to just live and work on a farm. It was a lot of work, but a great experience and a lot of fun!! My mom was able to fly in and see it live! As well as Devon, Bridget, Jimmie, and the rest of the Porter family!! Thanks for the support!!! Here are pics from one of our rehearsals.

How we met!

Kyle and I met through my friend and roommate Stephanie Slauson. She was dating Kyle's roommate. I met Kyle and had a huge crush on him. I thought he was cute, funny and really easy to talk to. Stephanie helped Kyle in having the courage to ask me out. We dated for a lil over a month and school was ending and he had arrangements to leave Provo and to go to New York to sell Pinnacle Alarm systems. I was sad when he left, but we kept touch and he came home after a month and a half. We continued to date and on our six months he surprised me and proposed!! I was ecstatic!!! He asked me in his apartment with a poem and calendar like he did when he first asked me out on a date. It was soo cute! He first proposed with a fake ring from Wal-mart then he asked me to open another box he said were earrings that he talked about getting for me. I opened it and there was my real engagement ring!! I started crying after seeing the sparkling, beauty of that ring and of just shock!! It was one of the best feelings! Kyle did a great job!! :)

I gave into making our own spot!!

Kyle and I were sealed in the Salt Lake City, Temple on December 27th, 2008. It was one of the most beautiful and spiritual moments of my life!! And FREEZING too!! My family was all there to support us! That week I was able to be endowed in the Mount Timpanogas Temple and what an experience that was...haha. I do love all of the temples that I live around though. What a blessing!! That week my family and I went ice skating together and it was my momma's and Dylan's first time!!! Of course, Dylan was a natural at it. Mom did really well too and captured some fun shots of us on the side. We also toured all of the Salt Lake Temple Square and admired the beautiful lights and scenery. I LOVED CHRISTMAS 2008!!!
